Creating a new Imbris Authmail account In Windows Mail

Open Windows Mail



Open the Tools Menu, and Click on Accounts.



On this Window, choose the Add button.



Choose E-mail Account and click Next.



Type your full name in the Display Name box and click Next.



Type your email address in the E-mail address box, and click Next.



Fill in your mail servers according to the picture below.

Incoming e-mail server type: POP3
Incoming mail server: mail.imbris.net
Outgoing mail server: authmail.imbris.net
Outgoing server requires authentication: Yes, Checked.


Enter the first part of your email address (before the @ symbol), and then your password.


You will also need to set your outgoing port to 587!
Click Finish and enjoy your email!






Changing an existing e-mail account in Windows Mail for Imbris Authmail

Open Windows Mail



Open the Tools Menu, and Click on Accounts.



Click on your Imbris mail account, then click on the Properties button.



Click on the Servers tab, at the top of the window.



Change your outgoing mail server to authmail.imbris.net.
At the bottom of the window, click the box that says My server requires authentication.



Fron there, you will need to push Advanced.
Set the outgoing port to 587.

Click OK at the bottom of the window.
Click Close at the bottom of the Internet Accounts window.
Enjoy your Imbris email!
